CONSULTING

Think Again’s consulting services help organizations put their values to work. We partner with teams to build systems that are fair, effective, and aligned with their purpose. From decision-making to HR to everyday program work, we help identify the practices that enable everyone to collaborate and thrive.

Some of our projects focus specifically on equity and inclusion. Others address organizational development more broadly, helping organizations strengthen their structures in areas like board development, team management, and community engagement.

Consulting is especially valuable when you know change is needed but aren’t sure how to move forward — for example, when your organization is growing, facing new challenges, or realigning priorities.

Each engagement is tailored to your needs and can include strategic planning, assessment and evaluation, policy development, leadership development, and implementation support.

    Strategic Planning

Our strategic planning approach uses a version of community-centered design that centers the voices of the people most impacted by decisions, engaging internal and external stakeholders in both the planning and implementation phases.

This is a cyclical process of articulating questions, gathering data and input, trying out solutions, checking impact against intentions, and revising.

In addition to producing a Strategic Plan with you, we teach your team to continually evaluate and improve while staying accountable to the most-impacted stakeholders.

    Policy Development

Strong policies turn good intentions into everyday practice. We help organizations translate their principles into clear, equitable systems for how work gets done.

Our team reviews existing documents, recommends revisions aligned with best practices, and identifies models from comparable organizations to inspire your unique solutions.

For example, we’ve helped organizations develop and implement policies for decision-making, role clarity and delegation, performance evaluation, hiring, supervision, and addressing problematic behavior.

    Assessment

In some cases, a simple conversation suffices to pinpoint your needs. However, a more structured assessment process can often be beneficial in identifying specific strengths, areas for improvement, and opportunities for positive transformation.

We collaborate with you to design and execute surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data reviews to thoroughly understand your starting point.

The resulting assessment report includes concrete recommendations that can serve as a roadmap for immediate and ongoing improvement.

Client Testimonials

  • “Your work has made a really profound impact. Just one example: our redesigned hiring process resulted in a recent opening getting the largest and most diverse candidate pool we’ve ever seen. Many candidates said the language used and the transparency of our process is what made them want to apply. This is a big breakthrough for our organization showing up as authentic in our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

  • “I’m grateful for how hard this (strategic planning session) was for me. I’m grateful to have been pushed to explore what I can do when I have to think on my feet.”

  • “I think this is the only time in the past two years I've been on a video call and felt restored and energized. Your training is absolutely miles better quality than other trainings in this same domain!”

    Emily Noble, April 2022

  • “This is all the language I didn’t have for so many interactions. It turns out I think about this stuff all the time and didn’t have words for it.”
