Leadership Pitfalls and Possibilities
Stewarding organizational transformation requires real leadership, and the structural realities of leadership roles create both enormous possibilities and significant pitfalls. In this session, we’ll use case studies to describe common obstacles that can interrupt change efforts, exploring how these show up in practice and offering concrete strategies that leaders can use to avoid them.

Leadership ARC for Leaders of Color - Winter 2026
This cohort is for people of color in management, leadership, and executive roles who are ready to deepen their personal and organizational equity work. This eight-week, small-group program provides space for learning, reflection, peer support, and action—all grounded in frameworks of intersectional justice and liberation. Together, we’ll explore how systemic oppression shapes our leadership practices and develop strategies to address the unique challenges of managers of color.

Why Antibias Training Doesn’t Work (and what to do instead)
Research suggests that antibias training doesn’t always produce more equitable outcomes. This session will explore why antibias training doesn’t do what you want it to do, explain what kind of interventions are effective at reducing bias and its impacts, and introduce evidence-based practices that have been shown to improve outcomes.
