No matter what you call it, ensuring that your organization is fair and inclusive is an important part of organizational health. Doing your job well requires doing it inclusively. Many organizations are facing criticism or even threats from funders over “DEI” initiatives, but we know that attention to fairness can’t be separated from attention to doing our jobs well. So how do we continue the important work of maintaining fair and inclusive workplaces and services, while navigating the current political environment?
